You know that feeling--when you get home from the beach and you suddenly realize that there's sand in your belly button and as you start to extract it your mind flashes over the entire day of beaching, inside jokes, boardwalking, Gravitron, obnoxious couples (yes, I said it), skin, and traveling. So thank you, belly button sand, for putting my last vacation before experience into perspective.
Another good feeling from the beach is the feeling of warm. On your body. You think, "Should I take something off--I'm hot." But then, you realize that you've soaked up sun and there's no solution but to let it run its course.
The OTHER great part about the beach was getting to know people. And the fact that it was two days before school when everyone else is scrambling around doing school shopping. Yes, that's what everyone else was doing.

I went to the doctor's today to have my warts inspected. The nurse after taking my weight, ushered me into a room to take my blood pressure.
So, here I am, alone with this nurse (who's wearing a covering, flowery nurse shirt, skirt and white shoes--the usual conservative Mennonite wear) and then she asks me:
"Are your warts on your hands or um, your--"
"Hands."
